The Demon girls track and field team got their first taste of the upcoming season with the Girls Demon Indoor yesterday. The meet was held at the University of Iowa and hosted by Washington. Demon Head Coach Howard Bean says they saw several 4A schools at the 24 team meet. Some of the big finishes for the Demons were:
4×8 – Regan Enfield, Stephanie Fishback, Mariah Righard, and Lauren Kimball 7th
4×4 – Lauren Kimball, Sammy Ellingson, Mariah Righard, and Regan Enfield 10th
400 meter dash – Sammy Ellingson 11th
Shot Put – Joni Erwin (one foot further than her personal best) 13th.

The Demons will also run in the UNI Indoor meet on March 22nd. The Boys Demon Indoor will be run Friday.
