The City of Washington Maintenance and Construction Department will begin fire hydrant flushing next month.  Maintenance and Construction Supervisor JJ Bell says they anticipate the flushing process to last from 10 to 14 days beginning Monday, April 4th.  He says during the flushing process, residents may experience loss of water pressure, discoloration, or rust.  If you have any questions regarding the hydrant flushing, contact the Washington Maintenance and Construction Department.
