The flooding outlook for southeast Iowa has not changed according to state Climatologist Harry Hillaker.  Hillaker says the major threat of flooding remains along the Mississippi River basin where there is significant moisture in snow pack from Minnesota and Wisconsin.  He says flooding along the smaller rivers in southeast Iowa should not be affected by major flooding because most of the snowfall has already melted and has drained into the waterways.  Hillaker says at this point, if we should see an average amount of moisture, we will not see flooding.
