The ISU Extension spring career conference dates have been set.  4-H and Youth Coordinator from the Washington County Extension Kati Peiffer says this year’s conference titled “Taking the Road Less Traveled” is for middle school and high school ages girls who are interested in pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering and math.

She says more than 2,500 individuals participate in this program each year.  The first conference is taking place April 14th for those in grades 9 through 12.

The second conferences are taking place on April 21st and April 28th for grades 6 through 9 at the Memorial Union on the Iowa State University campus in Ames.  For more information, contact the Washington County Extension.
