Title: Japan Relief Quilt Work
Description: A work day for making quilts to send to Japan is Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Wellman Senior Center. You are welcome to come for lunch, they are serving hot beef sandwiches, but you need to call for reservations at 319-644-2711. Quilts, new and clean used ones are also being collected by the Kalona Historical Village in Kalona to send to Japan. Deadline for dropping them off is April 28 and monetary donations for shipping are also being accepted and may be sent to Marilyn Woodin, P. O. Box 340, Kalona, Iowa, 52247.
