The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors met yesterday morning and during their meeting, they received an update on the Pathfinders Resource Conservation & Development group.  Detra Dettmann with Pathfinders shared on different events happening in Jefferson County.  She also shared about what Pathfinders can provide for the county.

The Supervisors also discussed land acquisition for the East Pleasant Plain sewer system.  Supervisor Richard Reed says representatives from the Regional Utilities Service System (RUSS) have been in contact with the land owner about acquiring land to be used for a sewer lift station.

Reed says no action was taken because of this conversation with the land owner.  He says the action item was tabled to next week’s meeting.  The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors meet every Monday morning at 9:00 in the Jefferson County Courthouse.
