The Keokuk County Board of Supervisors are moving forward with their plans on hiring a new county engineer.  Board Chairman Michael Berg says the Board had received 9 applications for filling the vacancy of the Keokuk County Engineer.  He says they interviewed two candidates this week and were very impressed with both of them.

Berg says they are working with Washington County Engineer David Patterson to find the right candidate.  He says they will be discussing the vacancy during their next Board meeting.
