Two area girls basketball coaches and one area player have been selected to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Southeast Iowa All-Star Team. The Association splits the state into quarters to make up the teams and ten players are selected from each quarter and all four classes. As for the Southeast team, Washington Demon Head Coach Phil Long and Sigourney Savage Head Coach Jenny Hobbs will head up the team from this area. Lone Tree’s Courtney Burr was selected to the team. Also Keokuk’s Shelsey Stanley will play for the Southeast. They face off against the other three teams in Des Moines on March 26th.
