A Louisa County Resident have received two Izaak Walton League of America awards.  On Wednesday, March 9th, Izaak Walton League of America’s National Director for Iowa Marion Streigel presented two membership awards to Jeb Grimm.  Katie Hammond from the Louisa County Conservation Center says these awards were given on behalf of the Louisa County Izaak Walton League for Grimm’s involvement in gaining the most members in the 50 and under member class and for showing a 66% increase in membership to the Izaak Walton League.

The Izaak Walton League is one of the nation’s oldest and most respected conservation organizations that takes a common-sense approach toward protecting our country’s natural heritage and improving outdoor recreation opportunities for all Americans.  Hammond adds these awards will be on display through tomorrow at the Louisa County Conservation Center.
