The One to Count On...

Mid-Prairie Athletic Director Don Showalter is retiring. Showalter says with the retirement benefits and the district offering an early seperation package, it’s pretty hard to pass up right now. He intends to continue coaching basketball. In addition to coaching at Mid-Prairie, Showalter has been involved in a number of different prominent camps around the country and has coached a couple USA Basketball junior teams in world competition including a world championship last year. Don Showalter has been at Mid-Prairie for 27 years, 26 of those as Athletic Director.
