The Mid-Prairie School Board met Monday evening and heard an update on the high school construction project.  Mid-Prairie School Superintendent Mark Schneider says Rick Kaul from The Baker Group presented an update on the installation of the school’s new heating, ventilating and air conditioning system.  Schneider says the work has not fully started, but the geo-thermal well fields are being drilled right now and a schedule has been planned with the contractors.

He adds some work is also being done to remodel three Science classrooms as well as replacing lights and windows in the older portion of the building to make it more energy efficient.  Schneider says they have a goal to have the entire project completed by September 1st.
