The Washington Demons had a first place finish at their Boys Demon Indoor Meet. Washington’ Jake Redlinger took first in the high jump going 6-6. Demon Head Coach Steve Roth says it’s a great start for him and should qualify him for Drake Relays. Also in the 60 meter dash, Landon Coker qualified for the finals and finished 9th. Roth says his two hurdlers Colin Steele and Logan Moeller ran well for a first outing and Garret Covington had a nice 800 split running 2:15. He explains what they are looking for in these early meets they aren’t worried about places, it’s all about times. The Demons will head to the Iowa State Indoor tomorrow night. Roth wants to thank all the volunteers who helped with last week’s meet and says everyone was complementary of the speed and efficiency it was ran.
