Senator Sandy Greiner from Keota has been part of the “Reopen Iowa for Business” hearings and she says these hearings are to help lawmakers learn what is preventing business owners from conducting business efficiently.  She says these hearings sponsored by the Senate Republicans have been held across the state, to have individuals list items in the State Code that are preventing them from moving their business forward.

She says when they are finished with all of the meetings the information will be compiled and will be used to offer amendments to try and make corrections to the state code.  Senator Greiner says the next hearing will be in Davenport on Saturday at 9:00 am for anyone involved in business.
