Washington School District conducted their annual basic testing and Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen says the school district did well and scores were up through the entire district. He says the testing was conducting last fall. Dr. Jorgensen says they report scores of students in the 3rd through 8th and the 11th grades to the state even though all grades take the testing.
He says they saw in improvement in the scores of reading, math and science. Dr. Jorgensen adds that while they are pleased with the scores, they will continue to work on improving them.
