Construction work on Highway 92 is scheduled to begin next week.  Jeff Johnson with the Iowa Department of Transportation says the work over the West Fork of Crooked Creek near West Chester is requiring the roadway to be closed.  He says the work is expected to start Wednesday morning, weather permitting.

Johnson says the detour route will be along Ginkgo Avenue just west of West Chester to 190th Street to Highway 1.  He says the work is being completed by Iowa Bridge and Culvert of Washington and is expected to be completed by the end of October.
