Congressman Dave Loebsack was in Washington yesterday to discuss job creation and economic development. Congressman Loebsack visited with Syngenta Seeds employees and talked about recently introduced legislation that will aim to save and grow industries and businesses and support career improvement for workers. Congressman Loebsack says he visits places like Syngenta because “it’s important about manufacturing in the United States.”
The Congressman’s legislation passed unanimously in the House of Representatives last year that established a workforce development system to promote the long-term competitiveness of industries and advance employment opportunities. These opportunities are for workers by connecting them to emerging and expanding industries, creating and saving jobs.
