County Treasurers across the state are working together to find a new company to provide website services for residents to pay property taxes and motor vehicle fees.  Washington County Treasurer Jeff Garrett says 88 counties in Iowa had contracted with ABC Virtual in West Des Moines to serve as the vendor for hosting the website where Iowans could pay their property taxes and motor vehicle fees.  He says they gave a 90 day notice to ABC Virtual and the contract with them will end July 8th.

Garrett notes they wanted a more stable company to work with.  Users of the state’s website will not see any difference when the transition is made to the new vendor.
