In boys golf, at the Washington Invite, Washington and Oskaloosa were neck and neck throughout the day. The eighteen hole tournament was originally going to be last Saturday but weather moved it to yesterday. Some of the teams originally scheduled weren’t able to make it yesterday so a few new schools were added, one of those was Oskaloosa and they’d end up being right their with the host school. Demon Head Coach Mark Berhow says pretty much the whole way they had a one to two stroke lead over Oskie and the Demons ended up winning by one stroke. Washington shot 319 to win, while the Indians shot 320 and Williamsburg shot 334. Individually for the Demons:
Joseph Harris 74
Alex Thode 78
Dillon DePerot 83
Michael Hall 84
Jake Redlinger 85
Brock Kimball 87
The Demons will get to see Oskaloosa again when they head over there for a dual on Tuesday.
