The Louisa County Conservation Center is preparing for Easter by holding an antler hunt. Katie Hammond with the Louisa County Conservation Center says they are holding their annual Easter Antler hunt Easter weekend. She says the participants will get a chance to learn about antlers and how they are different from horns.
Hammond says pre‑registration is required by Wednesday, April 20th. The Hunt is $3 per child and includes an antler hunt, prizes and a traditional egg hunt.
She notes the hunt will take place at the Virginia Grove Recreation Area from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 23rd. Register by calling 319-523-8381 or email email@example.com.
