The expansion of CIVCO Medical Solutions into Coralville this coming August is one step closer.  According to CIVCO Vice President of Human Resources Scott Rude, CIVCO is holding a groundbreaking ceremony tomorrow for their new location in Coralville.  Rude says the need for this building is because their customer base and the current facility is not big enough to fill the needs of the company.

He says they will be moving the design, engineering and customer service departments to Coralville and will expand the Kalona facility for the operational businesses.  Rude notes CIVCO is a medical device manufacturer and distribution company that has been around since 1981.
