The Mid-Prairie Drama and Music Departments are presenting a musical this weekend. Mid-Prairie Drama Director Tamara McClintock says they are presenting “110 in the Shade” based on the play “The Rainmaker.” She says the music is similar to the musical “Oklahoma” and the plot is like “The Music Man.”
McClintock says the play consists of 29 actors and she adds many of those worked on the sets. The play is tonight and tomorrow night at 7:30 in the Mid‑Prairie High School cafeteria and tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. To find out more, listen to today’s Washington Page.
