There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow. The National Weather Service says the primary threat would be damaging hail tonight, followed by the potential for heavy winds, damaging hail and an isolated tornado. Temperatures are expected to get into the upper 60s and lower 70s ahead of a cold front.

As long as clouds do not block the sun, these warm temps will happen and will cause moderate instability to develop and support the development of strong to severe thunderstorms.  In case of potentially dangerous weather, stay tuned to KCII for Severe Weather Action Team Coverage.
