The Washington School Board is holding a special election for a Physical Plant Equipment Levy tomorrow.  Dr. Mike Jorgensen says the currently levy is $1.00 per $1,000 of the assessed value of taxable property within the school district.  He says he is asking for the same amount in this election.

This levy can be used to repair and remodel reconstruction, improve school buildings and make additions to existing school buildings.  Dr. Jorgensen adds those in Washington can vote at the Washington County Courthouse and in Brighton at the Brighton Community Building.

Those wishing to vote by absentee ballot may do so at the Washington County Auditor’s Office until 5:00 today.  The election will take place tomorrow from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
