The weather has been challenging this season for a few area track and field teams. Some schools lost as many meets as they’ve been able to run because of rain and cool temperatures. Lone Tree Girls Head Coach Duane Kruger says of the six meets they were suppose to compete in they’ve run in three. He says they’ve picked up two, which means their schedule will be a little crowded. For instance they have four meets this week. For the Mid-Prairie girls, Head Coach Chris Tyler says they’ve had a similar experience running in three and having three cancelled. He says they are also looking to pick some up.
