Staying with track and field, the WACO Warriors hosted the Ekstrand Relays, a coed meet. One of the unique aspects of the meet is they award a combined boys-girls winner and this year West Branch won that with Washington second in Class A. In Class B, Lone Tree took first and WACO was second. Looking at just girls scores West Branch took first with 153 and Mount Pleasant second with 147, Washington finished 5th with 67 points. In Class B, Lone Tree first with 144 team points, Danville second with 99. On the boys side, in Class A, Mediapolis had 162 points to win and Washington was second with 134. In Class B, WACO won with 139.5 points and Lone Tree was second with 107.5.
