The Iowa State Patrol is reporting 1 person injured from an accident on Highway 218 near mile marker 65 or Old White Way yesterday afternoon.  According to the report, 26 year old Tiffany Magner of Mt. Pleasant was traveling southbound on Highway 218 when her vehicle left the west side of the roadway continuing over an embankment, crossing a creek and coming to rest on the opposite side.  Magner was transported by Washington County Ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.  Those assisting at the scene were the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Ainsworth Fire and Rescue.  KCII will bring you more information on this story as it becomes official.
