Two Washington County residents are continuing the process of compiling information regarding World War II.  Cheyenne Cuddeback-Miller along with her father, Larry Cuddeback, are continuing their work of gathering information of World War II veterans and their experiences.   Cuddeback-Miller says this project started over a year and a half ago to record the history first-hand.

They have currently interviewed 70 veterans and have more to interview.  The book is being compiled by volunteers who are transcribing the interviews.

When the book is completed it will be available to the public.  Listen to today’s In Touch With Southeast Iowa program for the second part of a conversation with Larry and Cheyenne to learn more about this project.

Anyone wishing to help with the book project or knows of a World War II veteran, contact Cheyenne Cuddeback-Miller at (319) 461-0889 or email at ccuddeback@hotmail.com.  You can also hear the first part of the conversation with Larry Cuddeback and Cheyenne Cuddeback-Miller at Radio Plus on kciiradio.com.
