Auto enthusiasts will have the chance to view and also display their classic cars tonight. The Corn Country Cruisers are hosting their first Cruise Night of the year on the square in downtown Washington. Coordinator Randy Farrington says this is the seventh year for the event, which has been well attended.
He says in order for the Cruise Night to happen on the square, the group had to get permission from the city, and from Washington Parks and Recreation. The Cruise Nights feature classic cars, motorcycles, hot rods, and other vehicles on display.
The American Legion Post 29 will have a food stand available, with all proceeds going toward area veterans.
