A Fairfield man has been charged with operating while intoxicated stemming from a March traffic violation.  According to the Prairie City Police Department, 24 year old James Kephart of Fairfield was stopped on March 22nd and was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and the responding officers believed he was under the influence of drugs.

Lab results from the Division of Criminal Investigation Crime Lab show that Kephart had cocaine, opiates, amphetamine and methamphetamine, marijuana and oxycodone in his system at the time of the traffic stop.  Kephart was given a date to appear in court.
