Local artists have the chance to show their work at a popular summer event.  The Fairfield First Fridays Art Walk is looking for vendors to display their art during the walks on the open lawn of Fairfield’s Central Park.  Coordinator Terry Baker says the three categories of vendors allowed to apply consist of artists, crafters, and food.

Booths must only have items that are hand-crafted and family appropriate.  Baker says jewelry, lawn art, soaps, baskets, and wooden bowls are examples of suitable items that may be sold.

Food booths may include any food items and vendors must possess a food license from the state of Iowa.  Applications to exhibit at the Art Walk are available online, or available from the Art Walk office.

The first night of exhibits is June 3rd, and Baker says interested vendors should contact her at least a week before that month’s showing.
