The Director of the Kirkwood Washington Center has announced her retirement.  Nancy Rash who has been the Director for 16 years is retiring the end of June.  Rash started her career with the University of Kansas before serving 17 combined years with Kansas State University and Iowa State University Extension Services.

She has also directed federal nutrition programs, served on the ISU State 4-H staff, lead 4-H and Youth Programs in Southeast and East Central Iowa and was the Director of the Muscatine County Extension Service.  She currently works with students from Washington, Mid-Prairie, Highland, Lone Tree, Keota, WACO and Winfield-Mt. Union High schools.

Rash is retiring the same day as her husband, Washington County Engineering Technician Lyle Moen.
