Among many area Memorial Day celebrations, one is being held tonight for the first time.  The Windmill Ridge Campground outside Kalona is hosting the first ever “Night of Music” tonight.  Scheduled bands include Treysta, a rock band, Unveiled, which is a Christian band, Charlie Stone will come on at 6:30, and he will be singing folk style and rock music.  The Ransom Project goes on at 7:30 with pop and rock music, and Straight from the Heat, a country band will close out the evening.

Rodney Gehman is a member of The Ransom Project and one of the local artists proud to play in front of area residents.  He lives in Kalona.  The shows begin at 5:00 tonight.
