The first phase of renovations at Mid-Prairie High School is nearing its completion.  As summer break approaches, the next step of the $5.5 million renovations will begin at the high school.  The first phase included fieldwork on the horizontal bore well, and the last of the loops are being bored for the geothermal heating and cooling system.

Work on that system is scheduled to begin next month.  Renovations of several classrooms have been completed, and work has begun on four more classrooms in the main building.  The heat pumps for the geothermal system will be installed the last day of school.

New drain lines under the floors are in place already.  More details on the summer schedule of renovations will be released in the coming weeks.
