Parents will have the opportunity to spend some time outside with their toddlers this weekend, as the Washington County Conservation Board is hosting a program at Marr Park to encourage children to start seeing and appreciating nature at a young age.  The hour-long session is geared toward kids three years old and younger, while accompanied by an adult.  Board naturalist Pam Holz says activities will focus on the different colors the kids will find in the spring season.

She says there will also be storytelling, a short hike, and craft making.  Holz also added that the event is a great opportunity to bond with your toddler and take in the beauty of nature while learning new things at the same time.  To register, contact Kirkwood – Washington Center.
