The Washington County Extension is offering their Pork Quality Assurance Plus Program again. Washington County Extension Swine Specialist Tom Miller says they had a big group three years ago and the certification is good for three years. They will be covering food safety concerns in pork production as well as welfare issues that the industry has been facing.
The class will go from 7:00 to 9:00 this evening. To register for the training please call the Washington County Extension office.
