Severe weather rolled through Washington County and the KCII listening area yesterday morning.  KCII went into Severe Weather Action Team coverage from 8:40 to 10:15 yesterday with severe thunderstorm warnings.

The storm brought heavy rains of close to three-quarters of an inch within in and hour plus thunder and lightning along with strong winds in excess of 50 miles per hour to the area.
