The Washington and Wellman Y’s are continuing to conduct their annual fundraising campaign. Washington Y Executive Director Greg Woller says each year they hold a drive for their Annual Sustaining Drive.  Woller mentions this is the same program that used to be called Strong Kids Program.

He says the Annual Sustaining Drive provides scholarships for families who are unable to afford the full membership fees and programs.  Woller says they are hoping to reach a goal of $50,000 by the end of the month.

He says they currently have about $42,000 toward that goal.  Woller mentions donations are currently being accepted through the end of the month and to find out more about the Y’s Sustaining Drive, look here.
