The Washington City Council met last night and voted to reject all bids submitted for a demolition project.  Much discussion was held regarding the cost and time table of the project.  The Council agreed to allow City Administrator Dave Plyman to authorize asbestos abatement of the location and reopen the bidding process for demolition of the buildings.

The Council also has finalized a survey form to go out to community leaders and others in the city inquiring about what they want in a new City Administrator.  They stated the list has been narrowed down to three search firms to be used for the hiring of the new City Administrator.

Current City Administrator Dave Plyman says he is still working on information regarding utility rate increases.  He says he will present information during a special City Council meeting next Wednesday at 5:00.
