The Washington County Community Organization Active in Disasters (COAD) volunteer meeting is being held tomorrow night. Washington County Public Health Program Director Chrystal Woller says COAD is having this meeting to help better their response in an emergency. She says this first training is to prepare volunteers to gain skills and learn how to establish an emergency volunteer center.
Woller adds COAD would get direction from the emergency manager stating what is needed from volunteers in the community depending on the emergency. The class is tomorrow night in the Robert Nicola Conference Room beginning at 5:00 pm.
