Students from Washington Junior High who have not signed up to go to the Nation’s capital still have time to register.  Washington Junior High US History Teacher Rachel Meyer says a trip to Washington, DC has been planned for next year and current students in grades 6 through 8 who attend the Junior High are eligible to go on this trip.

The purpose of this trip is to have the students see what is talked about in class and make it a better experience for them.  Meyer says the original plans were to only take 42 students, but because of demand, a second bus will be able to go if the last few spots are filled.
