Washington County 4-H held their 3rd Annual 5k run and one mile walk last weekend with almost 60 participants. Those in all age groups took part. Kati Peiffer, a volunteer with this event says the money raised from this event is used for 4-H enrollment fees.
The overall male winner of the 5K race was Ben Polley with a time of 21:40 and Lorin Fisher won the female division with a time of 23:06.
The overall male winner of the one mile was Logan Sieren who finished with a time of 6:54 and the female winner was Lauren Sieren who finished at 7:54.
Age division winners in the 5K were as follows: Age group 11-14: 1st place Jarek Brown, 2nd Place Kiowa Kieth. Age group 15-18: 1st Place Ben Polley, 2nd Place Kiersten Peck. Age group 19-29-: 1st Place Kiersten Peck, 2nd Place Amanda Shelman. Age group 30-39: 1st Place Jeff Cuddeback, 2nd Place Ryan Woline. Age group 40-49: 1st Place Michele Sieren, 2nd Place Teri Hartzler. Age group 60 +: 1st place Tom Kirkwood, 2nd place Cathy Kleese.
Age division winners in the 1 mile were as follows: age group 10 & under: 1st place Lauren Sieren, 2nd place Peyton Cuddeback. Age group 11-14: 1st place Logan Sieren, 2nd place Amanda Pfeifer. Age group 30-39: 1st place April Cuddeback. Age group 40-49: 1st place Erin Smith, 2nd place Wanda Pfeifer. Age group 50-59: 1st place Lorie Peiffer 2nd place Cindy Guy. Age group 60+: 1st place Angie Peiffer.
