Absentee ballots are still available for a special election.  The Washington School District is having a special election on June 28th to approve the nine and a half million dollars in General Obligation Bonds.  Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen says this bond issue is a nine and a half million dollar proposal to renovate the current high school building.

The building will become the future middle school.  Voting by an absentee ballot may be done at the Washington County Auditor’s Office until 5:00 on June 24th or through the mail.  For more information, call the Washington County Auditor’s Office.
