It’s been over ten years since the last Ainsworth Fun Days celebration but some of the city’s residents have decided to bring the event back.  Kevin and Traci Vonnahme are the organizers of the Ainsworth Fun Days.  Traci says her husband conceived the idea of reviving the event by simply making a snap decision one morning.  She says the celebration was always a lot of fun when she was younger, but as former organizers got older and became less interested in it, it was hard to keep it going.

But she says now that they have the means to do it, a group of Ainsworth residents has decided to bring the Ainsworth Fun Days back.  The two day event is Friday and Saturday, with activities for people of all ages.  Vonnahme says it’s a great opportunity to celebrate one of our area communities and to recognize local businesses.
