A popular annual event takes place in Keota this weekend. The Keota Fun Days kick off tonight and feature many free activities for residents. Organizer Andy Conrad says the annual celebration has been around for as long as he can remember and hopes to see an even better turn out for 2011 version. Conrad says there will be dances and live music, pony rides for kids, and the parade tomorrow, among many other activities.
The Fun Days Fun Run is also another popular event, as Conrad says people from as far away as Australia have participated in years past. The Keota Fun Days begins tonight and will go all day tomorrow as well, concluding with a Sunday morning church service outdoors.
