Babysitting can be a good job to teach kids about responsibility and put a little money in their pockets.  The Washington County Extension is offering a babysitting basics course next week for youth who are completing fifth grade this year and older.

Those attending will learn about employer expectations, how to care for infants and young children, age appropriate toys and activities as well as safety, emergency and first aid procedures.

The course is being offered next week.  Registration forms are due today and available at the Washington County Extension Office.
