The Washington City Council held a special session last night regarding the annexation of city-owned property.  The property consists of the airport, the current sewer plant, the Barthelow Farm purchased for the new sewer plant, and the school 90 bought for the Wellness Park.  A resolution was approved to annex those properties.

Also at the meeting, a benefit package for the new City Administrator was discussed.  A decision was made to use items similar to the previous Administrator’s contract.  This package will be presented to the search firm and will be used in the negotiation portion of the hiring process.
