The Demon baseball team continued their strong play with a win over Williamsburg last night. Hosting the Raiders, the Demons started freshman Elijah Wood on the hill. Demon Head Coach Nathan Miller says they got a good outing and Wood got his first varsity win. Washington won 12-2 in five innings. Miller says it really helped that they put up eight runs in the first inning for their young pitcher. He says an early lead like that allows you to settle down and throw relaxed. As a team Miller says they had six doubles, Anthony Ossman, Josh Moore, Brad Weather, Jordan Geir, Collin Steele, and Brian Roder each had a double. Steele went 2-3 with 3 rbi’s, Ossman, Jake Redlinger, Josh Moore, Jordan Geir and Steele had multiple hits. The Demons are now 14-4 on the season and head to Durant Saturday.
