The girls postseason continued last night with Regional Semifinal action. The Washington Demons were in Davenport facing Assumption after beating Columbus 2-1 earlier this week. Assumption had an opening round bye, and last night won big over the Demons 11-0. So they advance and face Burlington Notre Dame who beat Fairfield 8-2.

Elsewhere, Mid-Prairie beat Benton Community 7-1. The Golden Hawks will now play Union Community on Monday for the right to go to state. The game will be in La Porte City. Union Community beat Hudson 1-0.
