The Washington Demon softball team hosted the Washington Invite over the weekend. The Demons ended up winning the championship. They started the day off with a win over Winfield-Mount Union 10-0 in five innings. They would face the winner of Sigourney and WACO, Sigourney beat WACO 4-3. WACO won the third place game over Winfield-Mount Union 5-2. The Demons won in the championship game beating Sigourney 8-6. Now the Demons head on the road to face Fairfield tonight.
