The Demon softball team is also hoping to be in action this evening. The Demons look to have their home opener now that their new softball field is finished enough to play on. The Demons will host Fairfield. This is a make up from June 2nd and at that time with the softball field unfinished they were going to play in Fairfield, but with it moved to tonight, it will be played in Washington. The two teams just saw each other Saturday where the met in the third place game of the Fairfield tournament. The Demons led 5-1 but the Trojans won in extra innings with a three run home run from Brittany Craft.
